Ireland Women's rugby union team will change from white shorts to navy in response to player feedback about period anxieties.
Captain Nichola Fryday will wear the shorts for the first time during tomorrow's Six Nations launch - with the tournament starting a week on Saturday.
Centre Enya Breen says the decision will help them perform to their best by "removing unnecessary distractions".
