The Republic of Ireland will play France in a farewell friendly before the Women’s World Cup.
Tallaght Stadium will host the game on July 6th, two weeks before Ireland’s opening Group B game against co-hosts Australia.
FAI CEO Jonathan Hill says they explored playing the friendly at the Aviva, but it is unavailable due to surface maintenance.
