Ireland will know more tonight about potential play-off opponent

The Republic of Ireland will know more about who they might face in a World Cup play-off tonight.

Among this evening's World Cup qualifiers, North Macedonia face off against Wales and Austria take on Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Those games will help determine whether Ireland are in Pot Two or Pot Three for Thursday's semi-final draw.

Elsewhere tonight, Scotland could secure automatic qualification for next summer's finals if they beat Denmark at Hampden Park.
