The Republic of Ireland and North Macedonia have drawn nil-nil in their friendly at the Aviva Stadium.

Troy Parrott hit the crossbar and Johny Kenny missed a late chance, but Ireland were left frustrated by the visitors.

Harvey Vale, Bosun Lawal, and Millenic Alli came on in the second-half to win their first caps.

England suffered a 1-nil defeat to Japan in their final friendly before boss Thomas Tuchel names his World Cup squad.

Scotland also lost 1-nil to the Ivory Coast.

Former Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe scored the only goal of the game at Everton's Hill Dickinson Stadium.
