Ireland suffered a 125 points to 24 loss at France in the Women’s EuroBasket qualifiers last night.
France had eight of the 12 players that featured in their Olympics final defeat to the USA last year and Ireland coach James Weldon says they 'came up against a juggernaut'.
Ireland host Latvia in their next qualifier on Sunday.
