Ireland based Shaun Murphy begins World Championship bid this morning

Ronnie O’Sullivan and Ali Carter renew their rivalry in the opening round of the World Snooker Championship today.

2005 champion Shaun Murphy faces Daniel Wells in the first round this morning.
Last night, John Higgins advanced to the second round thanks to a 10 frames to seven win over Joe O'Connor.
