The IRFU has opened an investigation into online racist abuse directed toward Edwin Edogbo.
The Munster lock from Cobh in county Cork made his Ireland international debut in Saturday's Six Nations win against Italy.
A number of racist comments were posted below the IRFU's post celebrating Edogbo's first Ireland cap.
The IRFU are working with data technology company Signify - which specialises in protecting against online abuse - and relevant authorities.
Meanwhile the IRFU announce there are no fresh injury concerns for the team ahead of their visit to Twickenham on Saturday
