7-time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton could sign a new contract with Mercedes before this weekend's Canadian Grand Prix.
Team principal Toto Wolff says "we are talking more days than weeks" in regards to reaching an agreement with the British driver, who's 38.
Hamilton - who's 83 points off the title pace this season - has six months to run on his current 40-million-pounds-a-season deal.
