Nick Griggs finished best of the Irish in the final of the 3 thousand metres in the World Indoor Athletic Championships this evening.
The Tyrone man ran well but was boxed out and ended up in 9th place.
Andrew Coscoran was 13th in the same race.

Elsewhere, Lauren Roy failed to make the final of the Women's 60 metres in Poland.
She finished her semi final in 6th place but it wasn't enough to progress to the decider.
