GPA chief executive says players keen for return of International Rules Series

GPA chief executive Tom Parsons says players are keen to see the International Rules Series revived.

The hybrid rules clash between Ireland and Australia hasn't been staged since 2017, when Australia took the Cormac McAnallen Cup on home soil.

Parsons says Kerry star David Clifford is among the top inter-county players who want the games to return.

Meath's Eamonn Armstrong says he 'couldn't be more excited' to embrace the chance to move to the AFL.

The teenager has put pen to paper on a rookie contract with St Kilda - and he'll join the club after sitting his Leaving Cert next summer.

Armstrong was a key player on Meath's Leinster under-20 Football winning team this year, and Saint Kilda says they've signed one of the best prospects in gaelic football.
