Two goals inside the opening 10 minutes for Gneeveguilla set them on the road to Croke Park as they defeated Denn in the AIB All Ireland Junior Football Championship semi final.

The opening goal from the boot of Shane O Sullivan was soon followed by a John O Leary strike. In fact, the Kerry side had 2-2 on the board before Denn got their first point after 12 minutes.

Shane O Sullivan got his second goal of the game after 21 minutes while 7 minutes later, Pa Warren scored Gneeveguilla’s 4th goal to make it 4-4 to 0-4 at the interval in Tullamore.

Denn did get a goal early in the second half, which cut the deficit to 9 points. The sides exchanged points before a Jack Cremin goal put the icing on the cake for the East Kerry side.

Gneeveguilla march on to the All Ireland final next Sunday against Mayo Junior champions Kilmeena.
