Garvey's Tralee Warriors officially launched their 2025/2026 Domino's Mens Super League season on Monday evening at Garvey's SuperValu, Rock St.,Tralee at 6.00pm.
Into the Warriors roster this season come Canadian Irshaad Hunte and American Jordan Perkins. The 6’8’’ forward, known affectionately as ‘Iggy’, hails from Toronto and plays out of Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi.
American Jordan Perkins also joins the Warriors set up playing out of Longwood College,Virginia the 6’1’’
The Warriors squad includes the very familiar faces of captain Eoin Quigley, Daniel Jokubaitis, Keelan Crowe, James Fernane, Olaf Michalczuk and Cian O’Sullivan. Coming into the squad also are the Fleming brothers Padraig and Aaron, Dan Bowler, Ryan Sheehy, Jamie Bourke, James Friel and former Belfast Star forward Oisin Kerlin.
John Dowling continues as Head Coach, this season assisted by Kevin O’Donoghue and Jimmy Diggins with Anne Connolly as Team Manager and Valerie Behan as Physical Therapist.
The Warriors will compete this season in the Domino's Mens Super League, Mens U20 National League and the Women's Basketball Ireland Development League. The Womens BIDL campaign gets underway with an away trip to St. Paul's Killarney on Saturday 18th October at 1.00pm and the Mens U20 opening game in the National League is at home to Rathmore on Friday 24th October at 8.00pm.
This weekend the Warriors take on UCD Marian in their first game of the new Domino's Mens Super League season at the Micheál Ó Muircheartaigh Arena at the Kerry Sports Academy. Tip off is at 7.00pm.
