They progressed 4-2 on aggregate over the two legs of their knockout round play-off.
Celtic were 1-nil winners away to Stuttgart - but their opponents went through 4-2 overall.

In the Conference League, Crystal Palace advanced to the last-16 with a 2-nil win against Bosnian team Zrinjski.
The draw for the last 16 in all three European competitions, including the Champions League, will take place later today.
