George Ford is expected to be recalled to the England squad for this year's Six Nations campaign.
He'd replace injured captain Owen Farrell, who's been ruled out of the side's opening match against Scotland.
Ford, who was initially left out of Eddie Jones' 36-man squad, hasn't featured for his country since last year's championship.
