The FAI have appointed John Martin as their new Director of Football.
Martin, who was previously CEO at Shamrock Rovers, succeeds Marc Canham in the role.
FAI CEO David Courell said Martin was the “stand-out candidate” and will now “drive the long-term vision for football in Ireland.”
Shane Robinson has also been confirmed as Technical Director, with a particular focus on youth international teams and player development.
