F1 drivers are to be banned from making political or religious statements without approval from next season.

Lewis Hamilton previously wore a t-shirt about a black woman who was shot dead in the US, while now retired Sebastian Vettel's previously displayed a pride t-shirt and protested about oil.

Those incidents would now seemingly be in breach of an update to the code set by motorsport's governing body, the F-I-A.
