CYCLING
Sam Bennett holds a 52-point lead in the green jersey, with just three stages remaining of this year’s Tour de France.

The Carrick-on-Suir rider won today’s intermediate sprint, with Matteo Trentin second and Peter Sagan third.

The stage itself was won by Michal Kwiatkowski.

Bayern Munich head coach Hansi Flick has congratulated Liverpool on the imminent signing of Thiago.

The clubs have reportedly agreed an initial fee of 22-million euro for the 29-year old midfielder.

During his press conference, Flick revealed Thiago has already said an "emotional" goodbye to his Bayern team mates.

GAELIC GAMES
The Ulster football final is to be played away from Clones for the first time since 2006.

The game is due to be played on Sunday, November 22nd with a 4pm throw-in.

However, St. Tiernach’s Park does not have floodlights, and the Ulster Council will confirm an alternative venue at a later date.


RACING
Owners will be readmitted to Irish tracks for the first time since March on Monday.

Horse Racing Ireland have confirmed that two people per owner will be allowed on course in line with government guidelines.
