The GAA, FAI and IRFU have set up a working group to develop a roadmap for the return of spectators to stadiums.

People will be allowed to attend sporting events in limited numbers under the government's new 'Living with Covid' plan announced this afternoon.

From tomorrow, 200 spectators will be permitted into venues which would usually have the capacity to host crowds of 5,000 or more.

Smaller grounds will be able to admit 100 people while indoor events will be limited to 50.

Representatives of Sport Ireland will also work with the group which will be chaired by Aviva Stadium director, Martin Murphy.

Nicolas Roche has registered his second top-10 finish on this year’s Tour de France.

He had been part of a breakaway group from early on the 16th stage, and eventually came home eighth.

Roche was over 2-and-a-half minutes behind stage winner Lennard Kamma.

Lewis Hamilton won't be investigated by F1's governing body for wearing a T-shirt at the Tuscan GP about the shooting of Breonna Taylor.

It featured the words 'Arrest the cops who killed Breonna Taylor'.

The world champion wore it over his race-suit before the race and again on the podium.

The FIA will issue guidelines to drivers about what may and may not be worn.

Taylor was shot by police in her Kentucky home in March.

RUGBY

Marcell Coetzee is a doubt for Ulster’s Heineken Champions Cup quarter-final away to Toulouse.

The Springbok number-8 was dealing with a couple of niggles ahead of the Pro 14 final loss to Leinster, according to his head coach.

But Dan McFarland says they’ll give Coetzee every chance to prove his fitness ahead Sunday’s game in France.
