Stephen Kenny named a young side for Ireland's Nations League match against Finland with a debut for Brighton midfielder Jayson Molumby.

After a positive opening, the best chance of the first-half came to Finland though when Norwich striker Teemu Pukki found himself in plenty of space, going 1-on-1 with Darren Randolph, but the Ireland 'keeper made an impressive save.

GAELIC GAMES

The GAA is expected to confirm this week that the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship will begin on October 24th.

That's according to a report in the Sunday Times which says that the GAA's management committee will meet this Friday to rubber stamp the return of intercounty action.

The football championship is due to start a week later on the Halloween weekend.

The hurling final is set to take place on December 13th, six days before the football final and the association expects that all games will be played behind closed doors.

Rory McIlroy is five shots off the lead going into the final day at the Tour Championship.

The Ulsterman carded a disappointing 71 to finish on 8 under par last night.

McIlroy will tee off this evening just 7.20.

Dustin Johnson has a one stroke lead on 13 under par.

Jonathan Caldwell carded a final round 77 at the Andalucian Masters in Spain.

That left him on 6 over par overall.

American John Catlin won the event at Valderrama, beating Martin Kaymer by a stroke.

MOTORSPORT

France's Pierre Gasly has won an extremely eventful Italian Grand Prix.

McLaren's Carlos Sainz finished second with Lance Stroll in third.

The race had to be stopped after Charles Leclerc crashed out in his Ferrari.

Lewis Hamilton was also penalised for a pit stop error and had to settle for seventh place.
