The English FA says it will investigate claims by James McClean that he was the subject of sectarian abuse last weekend.
In a post on social media, the Republic of Ireland international said he was targeted during Wigan's Championship meeting with Sunderland.
The FA says it condemns all forms of 'discriminatory and offensive chanting' and will look into the matter before deciding on a course of action.
