Olympian Ellen Walshe has set a new national record in the 200 metre freestyle heats.
Her time of 1 minute 59-point-31 seconds was set at the Irish Open Championships on Tuesday morning.
The 23-year-old shaved over a second off her best time to break Victoria Catterson's mark of 1 minute 59-point-74 seconds from 2023.
