EFL considering changing playoff places to six teams

The E-F-L is considering expanding the Championship play-offs from four teams to six.

It's understood there's wide support from club bosses for sides finishing seventh and eighth to qualify.

There's no chance of that happening this season - as rules can't be changed once a competition has started.
