Dundalk back up to 2nd; top two meet today in Women's League

Dundalk are back up to second in the SSE Airtricity Premier Division this morning, following a 3-nil win at home to Finn Harps.

While Shelbourne were 2-nil winners at ten-man UCD.

With the second leg of their Champions League qualifier with Ludogorets to come on Tuesday, Shamrock Rovers are expected to make changes for this afternoon’s date with Drogheda.

Galway stay second, but needed a pair of late goals to win 3-1 at ten-man Athlone.

Longford left it late to win 2-1 at ten-man Waterford, while Shane Keegan picked up a first win as Cobh boss with a 3-1 defeat of Bray.

The top two meet in the Women’s National League this afternoon, with leaders Shelbourne holding an eight-point lead ahead of their game with Athlone.

Elsewhere, third placed Wexford Youths play in-form Bohemians.

There’s a Connacht derby as Galway host Sligo Rovers, Peamount go to Treaty United, and Cork City face DLR Waves.
