Aislinn Desmond has been selected to Captain the Kerry Senior Ladies in 2021.
This will be the second time the Rathmore Ladies GAA clubwoman has captained her county. Desmond played a crucial part as Rathmore claimed their first ever senior county title.
Aisling Desmond made her senior debut against Dublin in 2009, she won an All Star in 2015 and has three Munster Senior Football medals to her name with the Kingdom and is a surviving member of the 2012 All Ireland final team that were defeated by Cork.
It’s been a historic couple of days for Rathmore as just yesterday Rathmore’s Paul Murphy was selected as the Kerry Senior Mens captain.
