Kerry FC were unable to make it four successive games unbeaten after a 2-0 defeat at Dundalk.
The SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division leaders went ahead in the 43rd minute thanks to a goal from former Kerry player Leo Gaxha.
Daryl Horgan sealed the victory for Dundalk in the 68' minute.
