Division 2
Castleisland Desmonds 2-7 Templenoe 1-10
In blustery conditions in Castleisland, the home side had their second drawn game of the League. Templenoe got off to a great start, scoring 1-03 completely unanswered by the Desmonds. Castleisland found it very difficult to penetrate the blanket defence by Templenoe and the strong wind they were playing against. Adam Donoghue opened the scoring for Desmonds with a point punched over the bar in the 15th minute. Templenoe racked up two more points before Luke Lyons got a point and Cian W O Connor put the ball in the back of the net to bring the home side within three points of Templenoe. Josh Crowley Holland scored another point as Adam O Donoghue put over a point from a free on the other side. John Rice scored his third point, a free kick, shortly before Adam O Donoghue once again took a free just before referee Aidan Joy blew the whistle for half time. Desmonds 1-04, Templenoe 1-07.

John Rice stepped up to put another free kick over the bar in the 6th minute of the second half. A foot block in the small square gave the Desmonds a penalty in the 12th minute and Adam O Donoghue did the honours, scoring a rocket of a goal to put them within a point of Templenoe. Desmonds, with the wind behind their back, gained momentum. Adam O Donoghue kicked another point, but John Rice stepped up once again to score a point from a free. Maurice Hickey drove forward to put a point over the bar to level the game. Luka Brosnan scored the final point for Desmonds to put them ahead by one, but John Rice scored a point in a final free kick to level the game.

Division 3
Ballydonoghue 1-10 St Patrick's Blennerville 1-8
Churchill 2-10 Dromid Pearses 0-11
Both teams settled early with Churchill scoring a point from the impressive Eddie McCarthy and a quick reply from the equally impressive Niall O Se saw Dromid level. Churchill hit a purple patch, racing 6 points to 1 up in the opening 20 minutes, and with a goal from Dara O Sullivan before the half time whistle; Churchill 1-06 Dromid 0-04.

Dromid started the second half very well to reduce the deficit to a goal, but a 2nd decisive goal by O Sullivan left Churchill in command. Dromid continued their gutsy response with points from O Se, Dylan O Donighue and Gearóid O Sullivan. However, late scores from Liam O Donnell, Paddy Walsh and Jack Dolan saw the hosts over the line.

Glenflesk 2-7 Firies 0-10
Firies got off to a quick start with the first two points from the foot of Aaron Flynn within 3 minutes of the start. But 3 minutes later, following some slow build up play, Glenflesk stuck for their first goal from Kevin Bowler. But the young Firies side responded well and kicked the next 3 points to take the lead again 5 pts to a Goal after 19 minutes. Both sides would go on to miss a number of changes until Glenflesk struck again for their second score and goal of the half from Tommy Bowler. 2 minutes later Aaron popped over the 4th of his 7 points on the night to leave the score Firies 0-06 Glenflesk 2-00 at half time.

During the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half Aaron traded points with Jeff o Donoghue and Dylan Roche to leave the sides all square with 15 minutes to go, 8 pts to 2-02. But Glenflesk, nplaying with the breeze in the second half, scored 5 points without reply to leave the score 2-07 to 8pts after 27 minutes. Firies did reply with 2 further points but could never penetrate the Glenflesk defence to get the allusive goal for force the draw. Final score Glenflesk 2-7 Firies 0-10. Glenflesk have now secured promotion to Division 2.

Cordal 1-13 Scartaglin 0-6

Keel 3-9 Austin Stacks 1-12
A blistering start from the home side proved crucial in their victory. It was Keith Evans who found the bottom corner of the net after 40 seconds of play which gave the Keel men the start that they were looking for. Stacks responded with a free from Conor Myers. Tommy Buckley of Keel added four points to the board, two coming from frees. Austin Stacks found it difficult to break down the Keel defence but in the 22nd minute Calvin Foley sailed one between the posts to leave it 1-04 to 0-02. Just when Austin Stacks were beginning to break down the Keel defence, the home side added another goal. Keel won the kickout through Shane Evans and he quickly supplied the ball into space for Keith who drove at the Stacks defence before delivering the ball across the square to David Couchman who punched it to the back of the net. Stacks responded well with a point from John Carmody and another off the left boot of Calvin Foley. Couchman extended the home side’s lead in the 27th minute with a point which left it 2-05 to 0-04. The half wasn’t over though, and Stacks weren’t giving up. In the 30th minute, Austin Stacks won a free on the 45-metre line. Centre forward Gearóid Sheehan delivered a diagonal ball into Conor Myers who collected the ball mid-air, and he made no mistake blasting the ball into the back of the Keel net. At the interval it was Keel 2-05 (11), Austin Stacks B 1-04 (7).

Austin Stacks B outscored the home side in the second half but a 3rd goal in the half was the difference in the end. Shane Evans opened proceedings in the 2nd half with a point before Stacks began to find their rhythm, adding on two points from play. David Couchman added one off the right boot to leave it 2-07 to 1-06 eight minutes into the 2nd half. Stacks narrowed the gap to 3 points shortly afterwards with a point from Kerry U20 Jordan Kissane. However, just when Stacks felt they were clawing their way back into the encounter Keith Evans added a point before his brother Shane rattled the back of the Stacks net. It was 3-08 to 1-07 to Keel halfway through the 2nd half. Stacks added another point from play four minutes later and Keel responded with a point from Lachlan Griffin. This was Keel’s final score of the game but Austin Stacks added four points before the final whistle, one from play and three frees from Donagh McKivergan.

St Michael's-Foilmore 5-11 Ballylongford 1-4
St Michaels Foilmore opened the scoring with two points from play for Damien Kelly and Bernard Kelly. Sean Hanrahan registered a point from play for the visitors after seven minutes of play. St Michaels Foilmore added three further points from play one each for Darran O Sullivan, Damien Kelly and Bernard Kelly. The home side compounded their lead when Bernard Kelly struck the ball to the Ballylongford net, followed a minute later by a goal for Darran O Sullivan. Mikey Joe Driscoll added two points from play. Bernard Kelly added another goal to his tally when he converted from a penalty. Ballylongford fought back and Matt O Connor struck the ball to the St Michaels Foilmore net and Michael Holly converted from a free. Half time score St Michaels Foilmore 3-07 Ballylongford 1-02.

Bernard Kelly and Michael Holly exchanged points. St Michaels Foilmore drove on and Bernard Kelly added a further point from play. Darran Sullivan registered a second goal when he struck the ball to the Ballylongford net, followed less than a minute of play later with a goal for Damien Kelly. Joe McEllistrem added a consolation score when he converted from a free. Stephen O'Connor and Shane O Driscoll added two further points from play for the home side to leave full time St Michaels Foilmore 5-11 Ballylongford 1-4.
