Cork City Accept Takeover Bid

Cork City have accepted a bid from businessman Dermot Usher to buy the club.

In a statement, the First Division champions outlined the process that has to be completed for Usher to take control.

The Dublin businessman made his name and money with bathroom brand, SONAS Bathrooms, over a 30-year period.

The proposed takeover will now go to a vote by members on the 4th of December.
