Cork's Aoife Cooke is going to the Olympics.
The 34-year-old Ballincollig native won the Cheshire Elite Marathon in a time of 2 hours, 28 minutes and 36 seconds today.
That's four minutes off her personal best and almost a full minute inside the Olympic qualifying standard.
