Cork Advance To Munster Hurling Final

Cork have booked their place in the Munster Hurling final.

Brian Hayes and Patrick Horgan scored second-half goals as the Rebels defeated Waterford by 2-25 to 1-22 at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

That loss saw Division One B League champions Waterford exit the Championship at the round-robin stage.

Cork will travel to the Gaelic Grounds to face Limerick in the decider.

A much-changed Limerick team lost to Clare by 3-20 to 24-points in their dead-rubber encounter this afternoon.

Galway will face Kilkenny in the Leinster Senior Hurling final.

Cathal Mannion scored eight-points from frees as Galway overcame Dublin by 29-points to 3-15 at Parnell Park.

Dublin will now go into the All-Ireland Preliminary quarter-finals.

Offaly retained their Liam McCarthy status with a 3-15 to 1-16 win against Antrim in Tullamore.

That loss has sent Davy Fitzgerald's Saffrons down to the Joe McDonagh for next year.

Rory O'Connor and Lee Chin raised green flags in Wexford's 2-19 to 1-15 victory against Kilkenny.
