Kerry jockey Jack Kennedy is set for an extended period on the sidelines having sustained a fractured leg.

The injury has been confirmed after a fall at Naas yesterday, with 'Top Bandit' suffering a fatal injury in the incident.

It's not yet know if Kennedy will be able to ride at the Cheltenham Festival in March.

Meanwhile, Tralee’s Phillip Enright enjoyed far better fortune as he won the two-mile handicap chase on the Edward O'Grady-trained Shakeytry at Naas On Sunday. He brought the Glebeland Farm Partnership-owned 11-year-old home an eight-length winner from the Ted Walsh-trained Kildorrery, a fourth career success for the well-supported 3/1 chance.
