And Portarlington had too much for Naomh Mairtin, coming out on top by 14 points to 1-7 in Drogheda.

The Roscommon champions progressed by beating Ballina Stephenites by 1-21 to 3-8.
And Galway title holders Moycullen stormed past Leitrim Gaels by 4-13 to 1-7.
