Dundalk have confirmed that the club's ownership has changed hands, with majority shareholder John Temple's 65 percent stake acquired by Chris Clinton, who is based in the United States.
Clinton has stepped in as club chairperson, and will appoint a new management board in the coming days.
Dundalk won this season's First Division and are currently in the process of upgrading their facilities at Oriel Park.

First team manager Ciaran Kilduff recently committed his future to the club by signing a two-year deal to stay on as boss.
