Chile and Peru have taken their case against Ecuador to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
They maintain that Ecuador fielded an ineligible player during World Cup qualifying.
Ecuador are due to play in the opening game of this winter’s World Cup finals, and CAS say they will deliver their judgement no later than November 10th.
