Trainer Graham and Family, the Bark Whalberg Syndicate after their greyhound Cheap Sandwiches landed this BOYLE Sports Irish Greyhound Derby 2025 title at Shelbourne Park Greyhound Stadium.
History was made tonight at Shelbourne Park Greyhound Stadium, as trainer Graham Holland firmly established himself as the greatest greyhound trainer in Irish history, after claiming his 5th Irish Greyhound Derby title with his charge Cheap Sandwiches.
Cheap Sandwiches bettered his second place finish in last years Irish Greyhound Derby, to land the €125.000 first place prize this year!
Despite a disappointing break from traps the Bark Whalberg Syndicate owned greyhound, got himself ahead after the first bend and from there the result was never in doubt and he claimed victory in a blistering 29.37.
The 10 person syndicate led by Dan Brassil of Kerry raised the roof of Shelbourne Park as they cheered home their champ!
