Champion Hurdle the feature on opening day of Festival

The Champion Hurdle is the feature on the opening day of the Cheltenham Festival.

There's a field of nine, headed up by the rematch between Lossiemouth and Gordon Elliott's Brighterdaysahead.

The Willie Mullins'-trained Lossiemouth is unbeaten at Cheltenham - having previously landed the Mares� Hurdle and Triumph Hurdle at the Festival.

This year's Festival gets underway with the Grade One Supreme Novices' Hurdle at twenty-past-one.
