The chairman of Yorkshire County Cricket Club has resigned over its handling of racism allegations made by former player Azeem Rafiq.

Roger Hutton has apologised to Rafiq, called for more members of the board to go - and criticised the ECB for not assisting with an independent inquiry.

English cricket's governing body have since banned Yorkshire from hosting internationals.
