Cavan among winners on day one of Tailteann Cup

The Tailteann Cup first round proper has kicked off this afternoon.

There was victory for the home side in Páirc Seán Mac Diarmada where Leitrim beat Antrim by 2-14 to 1-12.

Meanwhile favourites Cavan got past fellow Ulster side Down by 24 points to 1-12.
