Irish Minister for European Affairs Thomas Byrne is among the politicians calling for this year's Champions League final to be moved from Saint Petersburg.
UEFA says it currently has no plans to switch the showpiece - despite the threat of war between Russia and Ukraine.
They added that they will be "constantly and closely monitoring the situation".
