Brian Fay has produced a brilliant finish at the World Cross Country Championships this evening.
The Dubliner ended up in 16th place just behind World 10 thousand metre champion Jimmy Gressier from France and the fourth best European overall.
In the women's race, Niamh Allen of Cork finished in 21st place with fellow Rebel Fiona Everard just behind her in 23rd.

Noah Harris of Parnell Athletics club finished 38th in the U20 Men�s 8 kilometre race.
