St Brendan’s took the win in the opening game of the day of the Garvey’s Supervalu County Senior Hurling Championship.
They got the better of Crotta O Neill’s 1-23 to 3-15.
Brendan’s opened up a 3 points to 1 lead by the 3 minute mark, and added two more points to go 4 clear after 6 minutes.

A 14th minute Jordan Conway goal, his second of the encounter, nudged his side in front by 2-2 to 0-7.

A Sean Brosnan goal doubled that advantage and at half time Brendan's were ahead by 1-13 to 2-6.

Brendan's hit back with 2 points to go in front once more.

With 5 minutes remaining Brendan's had a 2 point advantage at 1-20 to 3-12. Brendan's prevailed by 2.
