Sam Bennett has been ruled out of this year's Tour de France.
The Carrick-on-Suir sprinter had failed to recover in time from a knee injury.
His place on the Deceuninck Quick Step team goes instead to Mark Cavendish.

Last year saw Bennett become the first Irish rider since Sean Kelly in 1989 to win the Tour's Green Jersey.
