Munster are expected to hand Tadhg Beirne his first appearance of the season in Saturday's URC derby against Leinster.
The 33 year-old, who was player of the series during the Lions tour of Australia this summer, has been back in training in recent weeks.
Leinster injury doubt Robbie Henshaw is also expected to feature on Saturday.

The centre was taken off during Saturday's win over the Sharks but is set to be available for this weekend's clash in Croke Park.
