Ballymac Wild victorious in Shelbourne final

Ballymac Wild was victorious in the final of the Shelbourne Open 600.

Liam Dowling’s charge took the honours by a short head in 32-38.

Meanwhile, Dowling’s Ballymac Merlin was third in the second semi-final of the Con & Annie Kirby Memorial to progress to the decider.

Ballymac Merlin will be in trap 5 for the final.

Kerry had two winners at Curraheen Park.

Race 6 went to Seomra Nate for Castleisland’s Patrick J O’Connell senior while first in race 10 was Cheeky Lily, going for Trevor O’Connell and A. Slater of Abbeydorney.
