Ferrari's Charles Leclerc has claimed pole position for the season opening Bahrain F1 Grand Prix.
He qualified ahead of defending champion Max Verstappen, while his team-mate Carlos Sainz was third.
Britain's Lewis Hamilton had to settle for fifth place, with his new Mercedes colleague George Russell ninth on the grid.
