Shane Lowry suffered heartbreak at the Cognizant Classic after surrendering a three-shot lead over the closing stretch in Florida.
The Offaly native was in control at 19-under with three to play, but a costly double bogey at the 16th - followed by another at the par-three 17th - turned the tournament on its head.
Both errors came after tee shots found the water.
Lowry steadied himself with a par at the last for a final-round 68, but it left him in a three-way tie for second.
Colombia’s Nico Echavarria took full advantage to seal a two-shot victory and claim his third PGA Tour title.
