Athy through to first-ever Leinster final

Athy are through to their first-ever Leinster Club Senior Football Championship final.

Niall Kelly scored 10-points as the Kildare champions saw off Laois' Portarlington by 19-points to 11 at Newbridge this afternoon.

2016 All-Ireland winners Ballyboden St Enda's eased into next Saturday's Croke Park decider with a 2-19 to 10-points win at Tullamore in the other semi-final.

Colm Basquel and Ross McGarry raised green flags for the Dublin champions at O'Connor Park.
