American businessman Nick Giannotti and his company Redball Energy have completed their takeover of Athlone Town.
Redball also hold a stake in English League One club Plymouth Argyle, where Giannotti has served as a director.
He says the Midlanders' recent appointment of Ian Ryan as manager 'reflects their ambition and intent' to bring the club into a 'bright new era'.
