Arteta is confident in going far in the Champions League

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says his team have eyes on going all the way in this season's Champions League.

The Gunners begin their league phase campaign tonight with an away fixture against Spain's Athletic Club from 5.45.

Arteta says they will look to improve on last year's showing, when they lost to PSG in the semi-finals.

Tottenham are also in action later - they welcome Villarreal to north London from 8.

Elsewhere, PSV face Union SG, Benfica play Qarabag, Juventus go up against Dortmund and Real Madrid entertain Marseille.
