Arsenal's star striker Vivianne Miedema is to have surgery on a serious knee injury she suffered in Thursday's Women's Champions League defeat to Lyon.
The club has confirmed the Netherlands forward ruptured an anterior cruciate ligament, which will keep her out for an "extended period".
No timescale's been mentioned on her potential return.
