Kerry's Peter Crowley has announced his retirement from Inter-County football.

In a statement from Manager Peter Keane, he said: “Peter Crowley will be missed particularly for his energy, determination and experience on the training field and in the dressing room. I’d like to wish Peter the best of luck and thank him for the commitment he has always shown to the green and gold.”

The Laune Rangers man collected 2 national league medals, 7 Munster titles and an All Ireland win over Donegal in 2014.

He also won an All Star that year.

Defending champions Cavan will face Tyrone in the quarter-finals of the Ulster Senior Football Championship.

Derry await the winners of the preliminary round clash of Down and Donegal in the last-eight.

The other quarter-finals will pit Armagh against Antrim while Fermanagh will play Monaghan.
